Hello, we have always had horses at Down to Earth and love their friendly communicative nature.
Horses are well loved in the area with gold medalist professional riders and polo clubs in the Waimate Valley and plenty of horse breeders in the surrounds.
It's a quiet neighbourless quiet rural valley where we have a 10 acre block which we are creating into ecological paradise for retreats and eco tourism over the next few years.
Its located appx 12 min from kerikeri and 25 min to the Bay of Islands. Kaikohe is 20 mins away.
There is appx 7 acres of fenced north facing grassland with spring water and shade trees.
Stream boundary and dedicated horse drinking ponds.
Some large specimen Totara trees for shade
Double gated lockable entrance.
Accessible at all times and optional extra space for storage of horse floats.
2 main adjoining grazing paddocks which are usually used as one large one but if breeding or foaling, your horses can be separated.
The dream goal long term once the accommodation is sorted (which maybe take some time as ecology based buildings are hard pressed to get permits for) is to have a horse riding trail through the historic valley.
A further option to live on site is available in separate adjoining section.
Lovely secure place for your horses and riding!
